  1. Great shots! They are really cute. Ok, I'm curious about some things. Do they ever hang out in the house? How do they get along with dogs? Are they affectionate? What kind of treats do they like?

  2. Kevin,
The girls are band from the house. They would be doing cartwheels off the kitchen counters! We also have to make sure that when they go for walks that we steer them clear of the vehicles... Goats love to jump on cars! Quite the little shytes they are... But very fun! They are very much the life of the party!

Our dogs were not exposed to livestock early on so we have yet to allow them to "play" together. BUT I did take Sammy down on the lead once and Jasmine tried to head butt him. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't go for the jugular.

The Girls are extremely affectionate. When Jasmine was our only goat, we had to spend much time with her (because she needed a herd), We would take her out for walks (on a leash) daily and then we would sit down in the grass, she would lay down beside me and snuggle in close. They love to have their heads scratch and their tummies rubbed.

Goats like a variety of treats such as peanuts, cookies, peppermints but their ultimate favorite... the dreaded RAISINS!!!!

So their you have it, Goats are cool! BBZ would love one! ;)

  3. Thanks for educating me, Leigh. I think I should get a goat. Not now, maybe someday. I'll give it all the raisins I refuse to eat.

  4. Everyone should have a goat... or a pig... I miss ours. They ate everything that I had refused to eat! But they are a little messy... not like goats. :)

  6. Thanks!
I wish I could have recorded it, then posted the video. O well, maybe I will figure out how to do that soon. :)
